📖 How This Works
1
What Is This?
The National Surgeon Database pulls Medicare CMS data for the 6 CPT codes SBM sells. Every physician who billed these codes is here — with real procedure volumes and opportunity values based on your ASP.
2
CMS vs Pipeline
✓ CMS = verified Medicare billing history. Pipeline est. = surgeons your reps added manually, not yet in CMS. Both appear in the table.
3
Opportunity Column
Each row shows Opportunity $ = Medicare procedure count × SBM ASP. This is the commercial revenue potential if you win that surgeon.
4
Filter & Search
Use State to narrow by territory. Use CPT Code to focus on one procedure. Search by name, NPI, city, or account — matches any word.
5
Market Summary
Click 📊 Market Summary to see total market size per CPT — surgeons, Medicare volume, all-payer estimate, and total commercial opportunity using your ASPs.
Click ⬆ Update CMS to pull the latest Medicare dataset directly from CMS.gov. One click fetches all 6 CPT codes, rebuilds the database, and deploys in ~60 seconds. No downloads needed.
